K + 1 is a DJ duo based in DC but traveling all across the country. I collaborated with the two minds behind K + 1 to create various assets including their official logo, social media posts, merchandise, Soundcloud cover designs, and animated screens to be played on the large screen during concerts.
We went with a handwritten, satirical yet purposeful collage with culturally-relevant imagery and phrases that could be coming out of mouths of the very people dancing to their music.
